The other day I was channel flipping and I saw a few minutes of the old 1965 B/W Steve McQueen movie "Baby, the Rain Must Fall" where McQueen plays a musician trying to make amends for his past mistakes. He's playing in a sort of rockabilly band, and as they show him from the side, I recognize that his guitar player beside him is none other than Glen Campbell.

I enjoyed that. I could hear Chuck Berry in his early playing, or was I hearing Glen in Chuck’s playing?

Roy Clark is another kick ass player. Not a huge fan of the music (grandparents made me watch Hee Haw) but his playing is amazing.
