Hey guys, I'm building a ground up bolt on offset with a 80's style fast ebony fb neck and dual humbuckers. I'm looking for suggestions for a bridge, Hannes is pretty cool but I'm not looking to pay out the a$$ to get it into the country. Also have been thinking about Hipshot. I have black grover on this neck already so I guess I'm looking for black chrome.

Hipshot makes a great hardtail.

I know some guys who have improved it - namely they they’ve machined the saddles to fit tighter in the bridge to eliminate the side-to-side movement of the saddles. A huge improvement in my opinion. However; they are in the UK, so again going to pay.....

If money weren’t an object, I’d say go with something like this. However if budget considerations are a factor, Hipshot is a great option.

Recessed T.O.M.

Just route a bit of a hole (about 0.250") down and then your T.O.M. bridge goes in the hole.

Or Hipshot Baby Grand. But still may have to recess that one as well.

I'll let you know what I think of this Hipshot hardtail on a Strat in a week or so. I have one in the final stages of assy (set up) and I used this one on it.

It sure feels solid, but like I said, I'll assess that once I get it back and play it for a few days.

Here's another to consider. I haven't tried this one, but I HAVE used a Babicz two point trem and they're very well engineered and manufactured.
