All except for the Peavey cab is new. The Mesa cab is a cool half open back design, but makes everything through it very bright sounding. Luckily the Morris amp is so low-end happy that it's a perfect marriage of the two. I got the 5150 because it was a good price and totally forgot how great they sound! So happy I went back to one of those heads. The life lesson was never use the high input, always use the normal input and both channels sound better, still with as much gain as you'd ever need!

Try using an AT7 in there and still use the high input? I found a lot of high gain Peaveys sound a lot better with some ATs in place of the AXs.
Definitely an interesting idea. How does it affect the tone? Does it differ in a way that isn't akin to the already inherent difference in the green and red channels to begin with, with an AX in there?

I'd also like to throw out there (for possible cool points) that the Peavey cab pictured is from the original Butcher run, so it came stock with Celestion g12k-85's, which is still has in it.
