I got up at 5am for work and didn't even think of it until I went online again at 10:30am.

I know some music companies get in on it. Seymour Duncan has air pickups for air guitars, JHS had something new...

That's great. I didn't recognize all of the names, but recognized enough of them (particularly the Simpsons-derived acts) to get the joke. Although aren't a few of them real bands? (e.g., GWAR)

Yeah, GWAR and Andrew WK were on there - probably a couple others.

Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters is both a real and imaginary movie band. When the One-ders from That Thing You Do have an opportunity to appear in an Annette Funicello / Frankie Avalon style beach party movie, the band lip-syncing to the soundtrack is Captain Geech, dressed up as sailors. I gather the actual band from Springfield Illinois simly went with the name.

Did that when I was a teenager, but my 82 year old grandma was the first to get there. She just froze. I had to run and turn it off.

Gotta big pond just by the house in the middle of the forest. Once called a neighbour, retired policeman, game warden, to tell him I had a bear trying to catch fish off the bank of the pond. Come on, it's been there for at least 20 minutes, it'll still be there if you run here now. When he arrived, I told him the bear had finally got the April Fools fish and ran away in the woods, with it dangling off it's mouth.

My father in law got me good. I filled my car with cardboard to go to the recycling center and he stated that he had checked the times and closing time was 3pm (it was 3:30pm). The thought of emptying the car and storing it made me grimace..
