I'm looking at adding a compressor, and the Ego is at the top of the list. I only have a small pedalboard, so for real estate reasons I'm leaning towards the Mini version. Is much given up by having toggles for attack and tone vs. knobs on the full sized version?

Can't tell you anything about the mini or comparisons between the two, but I can say that I love my full-sized Ego - which isn't that large compared to a few other boutique builders. I am always trying to minimize pedalboard size, but I can justify the space the Ego takes.

Are you set on the Wampler?

I've tried the Mooer Yellow comp., good bang for the buck.
Xotic has the SP comp, that's what's on the small board now.
If you want to buy Canadian, Fairfield Circuitry has the Accountant.
I haven't tried that one yet though.

I've tried the SP, it's decent but the blend on the Wampler is a huge selling point for me. The Fairfield is also pretty cool, but I think that adds too much "colour" for what I'm looking for

The day after you posted this, an Accountant came up for sale locally. Figured I'd give it a shot, and it's great! Will probably hang on to my Mosquite Blender to mimic what I was after with the Wampler
