My son and I tried it on the Signature Strat a month ago. He liked it and said it was easier to use. I agreed from a functional point of view if you want it in the ready position all the time but I still prefer the traditional length.

I bought one of each length from Callaham, so I have 3 to mess with:

long
medium
Gilmour

I tend to use the medium the most, but I like the Gilmour
