A guy was selling lol, didn’t have a clue what it was, just trying to help him out lol.. oh well guess it is an “ugly” guitar brand :)

I think a lot of us have had one or two of these in our lifetimes...so cool to look at but just awful to try and play with any degree of success...lol. I was always amazed at how thin the bodies were and how thick the necks are. The AMC Pacer of the guitar world...we all had one but none of us will admit to it.

Plus, they have plywood bodies so if you do any work on them, the screws never bite after the first time removing them.

That headstock is very similar if not exact to a mid 60's guyatone. Or could be a Teisco Kawai.

My buddy has one branded Gaylord. He bought it just for the name...lol.

A friend of mine had a Hagstrom way back in the early 80s that looked a bit like that.

It had a weird trem on it and some crazy switches and stuff and a funky body shape.

But it was a killer guitar. Played like a dream. Super skinny neck too, like an Ibanez "wizard" neck, but a decade before that was a thing.
