The Compelling Drive OCD clone arrived.
Yadayadayada there's now a 27K resistor across Q2, the 2N700 MOSFET.
The 1N34 germanium diode ahead of it now has more influence over the clipping flavour.

The best way to describe it might be '25% more warm crunchy sweetness'.
I'll keep it short. If anyone wants more yada or a partial circuit diagram etc., I'll follow up.

...and I wound up doing 5 mods - xx fuzz crunch, fizz reduction, gain switch repurpose, volume output reduction.

So I thought it deserved a paint job.
Tried my hand at artwork w/ a printer & waterslide for the first time.

Hendrix cliche; thought I'd play it safe!

Yeah spill. I got an OCD in the build queue. Just a resistor across Q2 - what pins is on the dual IC?

Have a look here.
Q2 has 2 of its pins shorted, so there's only one way to put a resistor across it.
The opamp IC is not involved in the crunch mod.
