TVOntario is showing the documentary "Amy" at the moment (still 45 minutes to go). Apart from the downward personal spiral , I was unaware what a terrific rhythm guitarist she was. Some of the footage of her early days, before she had a big band, has her playing solo, and doing great chord patterns and changes. She could have played sessions with Steely Dan. She was that good, and that knowledgeable. Damn shame.

I started watching it on Netflix and couldn't finish it. So depressing and tragic. But agreed she was a pretty sweet guitar player.
