I agree with that...to a point.

The difference being Kurt WAS Nirvana. AIC on the other hand really was/is Jerry's band.

I'm not taking anything away from Layne, Sean & Mike here. That unit was unique, and it certainly won't be the same without Layne. But looking at 1995's "Alice in Chains" and 1998's "Boggy Depot", I think it's pretty obvious who the primary songwriter was.

It definetly won't be the same, but I doubt it'll be bad... I'm just excited there might be a good band who makes new albums, lol I'm always listening to old stuff. Pretty much the only people that I listen to who make new albums are instrumental guys.
