I remember him playing that model on TV in the early 70s.

Definitely a rhythm instrument. Upper fret access is a little,... well,... impossible.

Well, that's an improvement. Still kinda shapeless but it's starting to get somewhere. I like the tailpiece you added, plus the black - pickguard? - at the top right.

Reminds me, though. I caught Devo on their inaugural tour at the El Mo and I think one of the guitarists was sporting a box guitar, too. Way cool, if not totally practical.
