sounds great....good funk tone, did you use compression?

No compression other than the natural squeeze in the amp model. It's a pretty vanilla tone, but truthfully all I did was to strip away the excessive effects they had on the factory preset and this is what was left.

I really should take some more time and tweak.

Sounds great, very nice and twangy, just the way I like it:smile:. The tonelabs a great modeller, better than PODs and every other modeller in my opinion.

I think the three big modellers (Pod XTLive, Digitech GNX3000 and Vox Tonelabs) all have strengths and weaknesses. The Vox just seems to have better fundamental sounds to my ears. For home recording I would lean toward the GNX3000.


I've tried them all and obviously settled on the Vox. Another reason for my choice is the natural and intuitive way the Tonelab is laid out. It's really not hard to work with.
