My New (VERY RARE) 1988 Fender® Graffiti Yellow Stratocaster® Plus. E 483451
This color was originally slated for the Jeff Beck Stratocaster and reportedly was based on the color of the hot rod in the movie American Graffiti.
2 Fender Gold LACE SENSOR #027666 / Black Pickups , neck and middle
1 Fender Red LACE SENSOR # 029761 Black Pickup , Bridge
LSR Roller Nut / Hipshot Tremsetter
/ The neck is dated 2/29/88 and is stamped S. BUEHL, who is Scott Buehl, currently a Master Builder at the Custom Shop and another long time Fender employee.

Sweet Strat Plus!

I grew up in Owen Sound & bought my first guitar (‘73 Mustang) from Dave Fromager after he sold the store to the other Dave (I forget his last name but Larry Jensen worked there along with Tim Cameron before he moved to Tranna). I then bought my second & third guitars (a black/RW Squier Strat & ‘80 LP Custom that I wish I still had) at the store. How long have you lived in the Sound?

I remember seeing Kim Mitchell playing a Graffiti Yellow strat at a concert years ago.

Notably, he would often hold the guitar over his head (by the headstock and opposite end of the body) and shake it just enough to get a long slow vibrato.

Ah, Kim Mitchell....

Crazy, but an ebay seller in Montreal parted out a strat plus in August with a J Cruz neck. No idea why. He broke it down to the bare body, selling the bridge, loaded PG, body, neck and case in separate auctions. Total netted came to $1800ish, which may be slightly more than it might've sold complete but seems like a shame to break up such a nice guitar.

Reverb, ebay, kijiji, here.... wherever you can find them. They're not always for sale but people do part out these once in a while.

So you bought the yellow Strat Plus mentioned in the first post? What parts do you need for it?
To me , it looks like the pick guard and pickup covers .
I'm pretty sure mine are painted . Looks good but .,....
But I think it the best sounding of all my strats .
I guess that's option , but I really like it alooooot .
Just an enjoyable player around .
I feel fortunate to have come across it .
He wasn't letting go easy , I didn't pay top and he didn't get top .
I believe we worked a fair deal . Ya nice man around .

I guess I should look deeper into it before I start scrapping .

Are you wanting to put it back to stock? If so you'll need to replace everything black, including tuners, bridge and the nut should be a Wilkinson and not an LSR. LSR were used on mid to late '93 and up. My '88 plus is my main strat... They are great guitars.
