Here's a wonderful early PRS Custom 24. Many 1985 specs. The Royal Blue finish has faded and looks gorgeous - setting off this wild top! Brazilian rosewood fretboard. First iteration T and B humbucking pickups. Sweet switch and 5 way rotary pickup selector. PRS Milcom trem. The neck pickup cavity has been marked with a star by PRS employee Mike Deeley. The volume pot dates to the 38th week of 1985. The frets have some wear and have been dressed down a bit, but the guitar plays beautifully. Stays in perfect tune when using the trem! Some minor dings and wear - as you would expect from a 38 year old guitar. But this guitar has obviously been treated with respect! Super lightweight at 7.6 lbs. One bridge screw has been replaced with one with a slightly smaller head. Comes with original hardshell case in very nice shape. Price is inclusive of courier shipping or meetup. The very definition of an early PRS . I LOVE these early examples. They have a thing (feel and sound) that only the early ones do. I've had a pant-load of these and this one is right near the top tone-wise.

it has to the best of my knowledge 1985 PRS specs. The crazy maple tops that the '85's had, the Schaller tuners instead of the PRS ones that started appearing after mid '86, the glorious stamped T and stamped B pickups...at a fraction of the price of a 1985 Custom
I loved this guitar completely. I have had many many PRS guitars since the late 90's and this is in my top 3
The other two are a purple hardtail that got away many years ago, and a yellow '86 with moons that i still have and will not sell
it's a special guitar and i hope it stays in Canada
