I acquired this 1960 neck from an old fellow a few months back,it hung on a wall for about 10 years,no frets or tuners,just the string tree.Back in the early 80's as he remembers it,when the decal came off,he decided to put a brass fender logo!Being a pre CBS neck,should I leave it or can anybody recommend a good luthier to remove the brass logo,fill in the hole and put a proper decal on.Its now on a body and being played every day,nice thin 60's neck and no paint on the back of neck for easier movement.Also I have lined up a set of original klusons and neck plate.

Honestly, it's yours and non original - do whatever you think will look best.
