recently saw a picture of a 59 P Bass and on one internal shot, I could see the .1 mf capacitor clearly marked.
I figured if its good enough for a 59, its good enough for me.
Neutron Electronics just up the road sell caps for 80 cents each so I got one.

Just put it in and it sounds real nice. The tone pot sweep is great.

Just sharing my latest adventure.

I love trying different caps in P's. The difference between values is usually huge. One of my main P basses a few years back had 500k pots and a random cap out of a strat wiring harness; it changed a dark sounding p bass into the perfect bright instrument for the style of punk music I was playing.

I'll have to give that .1mf cap value a go!
