2005 Gibson Les Paul SUPREME ''Rootbeer'' (AAAA HOLY GRAIL!!!!!!!!!)

NON NEGOTIABLE!!! Selling this top of the line, completely original 2005 Gibson Les Paul ''SUPREME''. This guitar is practically like new!!! This is a very rare model, namely because they've discontinued it years ago, and also because the ''Root Beer'' color was limited in terms of total production units. This is Gibson's answer to PRS as far as high-end quality maple tops. The only Les Paul that has a AAAA flamed graded maple top ....the highest Gibson has ever done. Fretboard in those years we're made of ebony....as opposed to the less desirable rosewood or richlite. As far as tuners, hardware and electronics are concerned, everything is all factory. Everything is gold plated........even the frets!!! No modifications ever done to it. Pickups are the Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers for that undeniable Les Paul vintage tone.       There are currently two listed on Reverb in Root Beer that are located in Canada. The seller of the more expensive one ($6K) is "Guitar Collectibles" from Montreal, and although I don't have any first hand experience it would be worth asking around before considering dealing with them. The other one has a repaired headstock crack ( $4995). I have bought a guitar from this seller in Fredericton and can recommend him - he was also extremely flexible on price so should you consider an offer, go low. Helm Guitars repaired this, and they do good work.

      Be careful buying a Supreme - the blingyness seems to attract all the people who fake these things. I considered getting one for a while, but ultimately figured the prices were getting too stupid and I could find a Les Paul with as nice a top that also is not a nightmare to replace a switch or pickup.

      Thanks! Yeah I've seen more than a few fakes of these. But the blindness is also what attracts me to it lol. It's just the one model I've always wanted.
