    Awesome Pedal

In a previous thread I had stated how I went through a selection process and ended up buying the Diamond J Drive TR . I have said this pedal is great sound wise but the other night i was doing some playing with a couple buddies and I was using a Boogie f50 but when I played straight into the amp I was getting some noise, tube style. When I clicked in either the boost or the OD the noise went away, not too many OD's will do that...

No issues with the pedal, the boost actually acts like a noise filter and quiet downs the tube noise. The Jdrive is a great pedal still exploring all the tones the pedal has to offer.

I got to Meet Mike from Diamond at the MIAC show last weekend. Super nice guy! All his stuff is killer and the new chorus is looking and sounding great.

The TR is amazing. Kills the FullDrive type pedals dead!

Hmmm, sounds like the pedal is cleaning up the hum from your pickups. I'd have to try them but any hum killing pedals I've worked with almost always colored or sucked tone.

    Hopefully Diamond did it right.

I haven't noticed any tone sucking, maybe tone enhancement...
Yea I think Diamond has done it right, a buddy of mine has a FullDrive 2 and I would take the Diamond over it. The build inside the diamond is superb, everything neat and top notch. The dual boost modes are also great, the TR boost is killer.
