Any thought on this bass?
Is this a fair deal for $US700+ $60shipping ~ $800CAD (not including custom fees & tax)? * Warmoth Dinky Jazz body- swamp ash * Candy Tangerine Finish * Warmoth - Fender replacement neck * 34" scale with extra 21st fret o "Super Bass" construction o 1/4" thick slab fingerboard o Slim back contour o 10" fingerboard radius o Drilled 11/16" for standard tuning machines Standard 2-1/2" wide vintage fender heel specs * Shaller Lite Tuners * Gotoh Bridge * Dunlop Recessed Strap Locks * Sadowsky Pickups and Passive Electronics * Vol-Tone-Vol-Tone config * Vintage Parchment pickguard * Vintage Neck finish with finish removed on the back for super fast feel * Vintage Fender Neck Logo Fellow colleagues, what do you think? |

I wouldn't touch it. Unfortunately parts basses, no matter how good the parts don't seem to hold any value. I also really don't like the 'professional' job on the back of the neck.

Some people might want that bass but me personally I like buying all original. I wouldn' t buy a modified bass.

it looks good and a cool colour, but as mentioned earlier it will have no resale value. If you could get it for 300-400 it might be worth it

Thanks all for the replies.
I digg that color as well but I'll probably spend $100 on a used starter bass. Ya, it's only sold for a fraction of its cost. I guess you'd buy it if you don't plan to sell it. |
