I thought for sure they were going to send him after Bin Laden.
Ought to be interesting!

You mean he's not at the Holiday Inn Dubai living it up on the CIA credit card?

You don't watch a Rambo movie for the witty repartee, that's for sure. But, I don't think it's such a bad idea. You have to think about the global appeal that this character has (stories of lone renegade has universal appeal). The original movies were a huge hit in Asia, for example. I don't know how it will do in North American, but I'm sure it will do quite well elsewhere.

First Blood was the first movie I saw with a high QKPD ratio.
QKPD = Quality Kills Per Dollar

SWEET!! I think I still have a cheap version with a hollow handle... It had some fishing line, hooks, a compass and some other trinkets in there.
I won't be rushing out to the theatre to catch the new Rambo but I'm sure I'll see it on DVD.
I think Sly was charged with steroid possession while filming this in Australia a few months back.
Let's just hope Stallone doesn't have any plans for a 'Rhinestone' sequel ;)
Cheers,

Wow another Rocky sequel, and then the return of Rambo and he's remaking Death Wish http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Stallone-Remakes-Death-Wish-6846.html
Does this guy do anything new?

I'm thinking they should bring in a nephew/son character to pick up where Mr. Ford left off. Harrison could then become the Sean Connery character. Or at least that's how I'd do it.

My friend's brother-in-law was one of the directors of the latest Rocky sequel.

"should bring in a nephew/son character to pick up where Mr. Ford left off. Harrison could then become the Sean Connery character."
I've been following the production for about 4 years now.... I have spoilers if you want to hear them.... PM me....
I'm SICK of old 'action heroes' trying to phone it in... Die Hard 4.... Indy 4... Rocky.... Now Rambo.... There's another Terminator movie coming (Though hopefully Arnold won't be in it) and it's just sad... Almost as sad as Harrison Ford in Firewall.....

Don't want it spoiled, but thanks for the offer.
PS) When is it hitting theaters?
