I've Think I've Gotten Worse!

So, on the weekend I came across a recording of a band I was with 6 or 7 years ago and gave it a listen for fun.

It blew me away! I used to be a much better and inspired guitar player than I am now. Thousands of hours of practice and thousands of dollars on new gear - wasted.

Maybe I've just gotten tired or stuck in a rut. I'd sure love to capture that feeling and tone again. Guess I should have quit when I was ahead.

Anybody else ever feel that way?

every day man. i may know more now, but 15 years ago i sounded far better. that was around the time i stopped playing 12 hours a day and got a job though- so............
