I'm no great football fan, but I never miss the Grey Cup. Not a bad game at all. Not the Sask. blowout I was expecting.

I walked in a bar in the Middle East in '99 and there were all kinds of RAF boys in there. They were watching Soccer on the big screan TV and I had to do some work on the PA, which meant I was making noise.

They all started complaining that they were trying to watch football, to which I replied "That's not football, it's soccer and where I come from only girls play that".

They got a little antsy about that, but once they found out that I was from Canada, they were allright with it and I got hammered with them.

I love the CFL, that was a bad game.

Congrats to Sask on winning the Grey Cup.

I love the CFL as well. I used to be an NFL fan but am finding it very difficult to watch now. Their packaging and promotion is great but the game itself I find very slow.

At the end of the game last night Kerry Joseph was interviewed and the guy could barely contain his emotions. He was in tears because they had won. You just don't see that passion in the NFL, at least I haven't.

The last decent SuperlativeBowl was the first of four consecuctive Bills losses. The worst Grey Cup game is invariably better than the best Superbowl.

Other than that.....:zzz::zzz::zzz:

James: I was there. Toronto would have been in a genuine frenzy if my Argos were in it. I have season's tix too. Best team won. Too bad about Glen's arm being broken.
Watching the game, it was very similar to the Eastern Final with lots of dropped passes.
I was cheering for Sask and I admit I'm glad that Austin's team took it, considering the B.S. he put up with in Toronto with Ricky Williams then his firing. Last laugh goes to Kent.

I love my Riders but I'm certain if Glenn's Arm wasn't broken we wouldn't have won that game.

I like close games even though they can get a little stressful!

Go Riders!!

It was a lot closer than Rider fans expected--good for them to sweat it out a little.

I didn't care who won--I wanted a close entertaining game.
It was close to the end, and while not a classic--it was fun to watch.
Defensive football can be entertaining, and both defenses had some big plays.

I used to actually play in an organized football league and love playing the game as a wide receiver however for some reason I cant get into watching football on TV...the game has to many starts and stops to get into it...if I do watch which is rare I think i prefer the CFL because there is more of a passing/throwing game...almost everytime I see a running play in an NFL game it always ends in little to no yardage gain and is really boring to watch...thats just me though.
