Hi, everyone -
I first came here on a mission (my post in the luthiers section is forthcoming). Then I got distracted by a link posted here to a 14-page thread on another site, which once upon a time was adminned by a guy named Jeff Litchfield: (http://www.guitarscanada.com/Board/showthread.php?t=3528&highlight=litchfield (http://www.guitarscanada.com/Board/showthread.php?t=3528&highlight=litchfield)). Laugh out loud. Very, very funny object lesson, though I must say that for only $120 U.S. the guy was maligned worse than he deserved. Just another guy whose dog ate his homework, IMO, and any real con artist would scoff at him. But apparently that's an old story.
