these things arent around much nowadays are they? has anyone tried one? is there any companies out there now that are making foot synthesizers at all? i was checking around on google and couldnt find any. you'd think it would be something worth while for these companies to make though...

Moog still makes foot synths...a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.
Electro-harmonix
Digitech
Boss
Akai
I know there are more but i cant think of any for some reason

I worked with a bassist a few years ago who used a set of Roland pedals triggering some sort of Roland module.
Some good sounds.
I have a keyboardist now so there's no need for pedals.
As I recall they worked well.
The Moog Taurus pedals were cool but very limited, and too big.

Jammed with a guy once who was using a Behringer FCB-1010 foot controller and a Roland Sound Canvas module to do bass synth notes. He said he used the Behringer because it was inexpensive and could be programmed to send MIDI note on/note off messages. No idea how hard it was to set up though.
