Need new tuners. but which to buy?

i need some help in choosing which tuners to buy. I`ts an Ibanez 3x3 config.
The tuners on it are Grover style, does that mean they look like Grovers??
Anyway i`d like to go with the "locking" type. Thanks!!:thanks5qx:

not sure what model your guitar is, but ibanez usually uses Gotoh tuners.
so if you get gotoh replacements, you won't have to re-drill new holes for tuners and that's a good thing.
if you want locking, then look for Gotoh Magnum locking tuners.

I have used Schaller, Grover and Gotoh tuners with all equally good success.

Grover tuners usually have the kidney bean shaped knobs, the Schaller and gotoh have the squarer looking ones for lack of a better description.

In terms of quality I rate them all equal - however the nicest tuners I have used so far have been the Grover Imperials. They arent standard size though.

I wouldnt hesitate to use any of them.

I like the Schaller locking tuners.


They work perfectly and look fine.
