A bit a vintage wear here and there. A nicely aged bridge. I'd love to hear that through a cranked deluxe tweed, ... or maybe a big HiWatt. :rockon2:

That looks amazing. I'll bet that is a killer guitar! Did you pick that up locally or from the U.S.? Congrats and enjoy.

Thanks Guys! Yep, she sounds sweet through an old plexi or AC30:food-smiley-004:

Got it from Capsule Music - lots of great gear there!

Very nice looking guitar !!

Is the bridge adjusted/positioned (as seen in the pic) the way it is for a specific reason?

Enjoy !!

Yeah this is a good one kids. Superb tone. I actually LOVE the clean tone this baby has. And who can argue with a guitar that looks soooooo cool.
Hey a slim neck is not a bad thing. It does this guitar just fine.
Good one Nigel !!!!!!!

cheers

Dave,

No idea - I tweaked it so it's more stable and still in tune

Cheers

Very nice. I have a freind who has a '60 in cherry. It's almost mint and I think it's the best guitar I've ever played. I really didn't want to put it down. Amazing.

I'm really missing my 56...but the neck was just too big for my old hands.
That slim neck would suit me just fine

i love those blonde specials. they have absolutely great 'neck' vibrato and are much more solid than the SG, which tends to disintegrate under 'neck' vibrato use.
nigel, nice find. not too much wear and pretty clean looking for a guitar that's almost 50 years old.
