What are the differences between gibson custom shop historical reissues and Gibson custom shop Vintage Original Specs??? Seems like on the gibson website they only have the Sg VOS not the Sg histrorical reissues...

Same thing, just an update.
The historic series are reissues of the old gibson classics, I think the VOS thing is just their attempt to make them more accurate to the originals. So its a "Historic Vintage Original Spec." really.

VOS includes an 'aged' finish, not high gloss. High gloss is about an extra $300 or so.
Also, watch out on the SG models, the '61 Reissue isn't from the Custom Shop, very confusing.

Looks correct to me, the Custom Shop call them a Standard, and it has the COA and case candy. I can't comment on whether the serial # is correct
here's the link to Gibson
http://www.gibsoncustom.com/flash/products/designer/SGStandard/SGStandard.html
you can email the serial # to Gibson, they will send you the description of the guitar that has that #
you can't judge the auction at this stage, all the candy seems real enough. it still early, you can see this auction get to 2000$ just in the last 10 minutes
