Ever since I sold my Strat and picked up a pawnshop Peavey Tele copy I've been Jonesin' for the real thing. Thanks to a fellow forumite (Thanx Al :food-smiley-004:) , the itch has been scratched.

2007 American Tele, 3-tone and maple - just what I was looking for.

Not refined and solid-sounding like my LP; but bouncy, springy, airy, dirty, snarly, and snotty. And fun .... oh, so much fun.

Hard to believe that Leo got it so right on his (almost) first try.

Congtrat mate on the Tele. I recently bought 4 strats, but next one WILL be a Telecaster, just a totaly different feel when you play those. i know i WANT one, i just can't make my mind on WICH one..hehe.

Nothing like the real thing. Looks like you got a good one. I've had plenty of "Asians" but my 2005 Tele tops them all. Congrats.

hey man-
i got one a few weeks ago too- was at my last week of work(hooray for temporary retirement) so its a mim. but my observations are just as yours are. already the neck is showing wear lol, and have to force myself to pick up one of my strats. love it.
