View Full Version : Again another (i think) inexpensive find?

It sells for 1350$. A Fender Jazz Bass 1962, with all the original documents and parts. I contacted the guy to make sure it's not a reissue, but if it's a real 62' JB, i'm going to purchase it :smile:

Can anybody tell if it's an actual 1962 just by looking at it? I can't really tell, as it really looks too much like the reissue

Ask for the serial number and check it out with Fender!

It sort of looks like a '52 reissue p bass.

It's a good thing you didn't buy it... Damn thieves!

It's a reissue of a '51 Precision made in Japan. You can actually see the "Crafted in Japan" sticker where the neck meets the body.

I'm sure it's a great bass but a quick Google search and you can see that it's only worth about 630 USD brand new! :eek:
