I want to play this song this Christmas:

and yeah, seeing as there are no tabs whatsoever on the net, I'm going to have to tab it most likely. I was wondering however, if there are any softwares out there (that are free or trial) that I could use to get me a rough idea of the song...like the notes and stuff

Doubtful... you could grab the audio from it and attempt to convert it to MIDI then import it in Guitar Pro but it's not going to be very, if at all, accurate.
Download "Transcribe!" to slow it down and work it out by ear.

ok thanks. Actually, my windows media player has a slow down function built in too...but yeah I believe it also changes the pitch. Thanks vio.

You want his version note for note or you want a chart of Emmanuel? A little Google lead me to a few options here (http://www.praisecharts.com/index.php?module=shopping&action=search&sort=2&theme=Christmas&start=0&idx=5). Downloadable PDFs from there for a few bucks. But you're better of nabbing a Christmas music fake book (http://www.google.ca/search?q=christmas+fake+book+emmanuel&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a). Then you get a bunch of charts.
