I had to join when I read ACCEPT2's comment saying These guitars are "crap". I own 6 guitars. 3 acoustic and 3 electric. Of my electric models Harmony , Godin and Jackson the Harmony is the most primitive. It is also the one that is the easiest to play, has the cleanest ,brightest sound and bottom line just feels right in hand. It's a 1964 Rocket H53 in mint condition single pickup. An absolute pleasure to play. Many players of international fame will tell you they learned on these guitars and seek them for their collections.

my first decent guitar was a Harmony Meteor. Played it in my first band for about a year, then sold it to my lead guitar player (this was back in '66). It was a good player, considering it was dirt cheap.

edit: just did a Google, did you know Dave Davies of the Kinks used one of these on "you really got me"? I didn't, or maybe I did and forgot.

One things for sure... for anyone that wants them, they can be had for cheap at just about any pawn or second hand shop. I see them all the time on my travels.
