i doubt this is the right section but ill post here anyways.

a guy i know off of another forum (not guitar based) is selling his guitar due to lack of time. here is all the info he gave me.

its a flying v hondo deluxe series 768.
it has a few scratches and dents etc. (which doesnt bother me)
he also says it needs new knobs.

now since i will only be fooling around with this etc. how much would it be worth?

Hondo's are fairly low end. If i needs any work at all you would be looking at $100 in my opinion

Depends on what you want to do with it. But if you are looking at getting a decent guitar, there are plenty more choices.

not necessarily, some of the hondos are pretty good guitars. In their time they were more of an entry level guitar, but I've played and owned some over the years that were good guitars. Check it out, play it, see what you think. I owned a Hondo explorer for years that had a great neck and played fantastic.

the body is plywood,if your messing around on it,it will be allright
i had a series A RR copy,it was all right for a plywood guitar,i bought from
a pawnshop,it came with a USA Kahler,i dropped some pups in there, and played
live shows with it
