I see the shipping is around 120-140 USD.
They use EMS which is Govt post.
So when it comes into Canada the brokerage would be the standard $5, right?

Tax into ontario would be 14%.

How much % duty do I have to pay?

Anyone bough directly from Japan, i would appreciate some feedback.

Thanks

6% duty I believe. Brokerage can be anything from $5 for Canada Post to cut throat from certain large couriers.

For me, it worked out to about 23% of the actual cost of the guitar when I bought my Edwards from Japan.

when I send guitars from Japan to Montreal I always use insured postal service, so far the only time my family paid anything was when I sent surface mail...every other time I sent airmail thay didn`t pay anything. Wrote them up as gifts...`cause thats what they were...Christmas gifts. Gonna be sending acoustics this year. Takes about a week door to door.
