...i have suddenly developed an infatuation with fender's aerodyne tele. pretty solid reviews. i'll visit a few stores to see if i can find one to try.

made in korea. black beauty. single coil bridge and p90 neck.

has anyone checked it out?

yeah, the store I work at is a bigtime fender dealer and my co-worker loved it so much that he bought it. a neck p-90 is fabulous in many situations I think, but they are just so ghastly to look at. nice playing, but the radius was a bit too curvy for me (that can be said of all fenders though)

here's the review:

well, to start with, it is beautiful to look at, just like in the photo:

as it turns out, this one was made in japan. bonus! as well, it has sperzel
locking tuners. double bonus!! and, i love the sound of the neck p90,
although i have read that it is not a genuine p90.

gorgeous to look at, wonderful to play. bridge pickup is shrill, but backing off the tone control not only cures the problem but leads to an array of satisfying tones. the p90 also sounds great. this guitar exudes tone, that rich and full sustain that my 96 tele deluxe plus also delivers.
