Great deal on a 1x12 cab!

Just a heads up on a great deal:

Axemusic in calgary are clearing out the crate GT112SL cab.
i picked up one up last saturday for my "light" rig, for only $139
they have a webstore and i think they have free shipping (not sure)

Now before you laugh, it is actually a decent cab.
The contruction is solid as far as i can see.
The speaker is a Celestion G12K-100 -- while not my first choice in speakers, it is pretty good for now. and i can always replace it later.
it sounds bassier and more "modern" than my regular 2x12 with V30 and G12H30, but it doesn't sound bad at all.

Bottom line is that it's a good cab at a great price.
My aching back is thanking me already.

Cool. I'm sure the G12K-100 is probably a decent speaker. Orange uses it in their PPC112 cab. Doesn't mean it's good, but probably a good bet.

Thanks for posting this. I just happened to be driving past Axe the other day at lunch and thought I would see if they had any left. I think I got the last one. Very nice solid cab for the money and sounds pretty damn good too.
