Air Canada - Recent Basses/Guitars policy for carry on?????

Has anyone travelled recently and what is Air Canada's policy on carrying on a bass? This seems to change from time. We're of to Maui on the weekend and I have a headless bass I have been able to carry on in the past. My wife wants to take her keyboard and it has a flight case so we're hoping to check that with the baby strollers etc., hopefully being a little safer than general baggage.

well for what it's worth.... air canada let some people carry their guitars on and others they didn't. i took mine in a flight case just in case and checked it. they put some nice dings in the case but the bass made it okay.

For what it's worth, I'm still upset you got to go to Maui and I was stuck here! :mad: :D
