Hey hey...i have a cab, but no head (because of funds) i was wonderin if there is n e way to plug a normal amp into the cab and ue that as a head...and still have it loud
what i have
the cab (4x12)
and my behringer gx110 amp....its 30 watt

To do this, you'd have to run a speaker cable from the speaker jack on the amp to the input of the cabinet. You also have to make sure that the ohm ratings on both the head and the cab match.

it will say next to the inputs on your cab for sure, and if it doesnt say on the speaker of your combo (or somewhere on the amp) it iwll be in the manual. the amp will say "minimum 8ohm load" or something. that means anything 8 ohm or above is ok

ok...my amp is 8 ohm .....my cab is 8 ohm min....
i have (on my amp)
-input jack
-output jack for loutspeaker
-phones jack
-send insert jack
-return jack
-and some input output colour plugs
i plug my amp into my cab usin the loudspeaker jack....and it doesnt get very loud at all....:confused-smiley-010

the line out jacks on a lot of smaller amps like that will run at a line level... for a mixer. im not too sure how to do this in this case, i always just run mine into a power amp and then to a speaker.
