I scored this off Ebay probably 3 or 4 years ago for $300. I expected a disaster upon receiving it, but it plays beautifully despite it's looks. Came with a case that looks to be as old as the guitar.

By far my favourite guitar for playability and especially sound, but sadly it's pretty noisy at high volumes and gain. I dunno what these pickups are, but even when playing loud detuned chords, every note is very distinguishable. I'm pretty bummed with the feedback it makes, otherwise it would be my main guitar.

I think the beater look says, " This axe got mojo!"

Is it a hollow body? They can be a bugger when it comes to feedback. Not exactly made for marshall stacks and cranked twins. I'd take it to a tech and have the electronics looked at. Over forty years old and well used, things could get a little fizzy

Take a trip to LTG (http://www.letstalkguild.com) and get some help with that. These guys know their Guilds.

thats pretty awesome looking. You could always fill it with newspaper to kill the feedback
