Hey ...all
Just picked up a fender pro junior for my kids 16th birthday....tomorrow
with the exchange on the dollar these days..the prices on these are coming down into a decent range...360.00 bucks before tax...
15 watts of el34 all tube bliss.....simple rig with no reverb....
I gave it a test drive before she got home...to make sure it was in good working order.....and I was impressed by the clean and crunchy sounds I was able to make...plenty loud enough for bedroom playing...
this should be a really good match up to her strat.....

she has told me she likes the clean sound best when playing so I figured fender would be a good choice.....

...a pro junior is a "must have" amp, and an absolute keeper once you have one, in my opinion. great recording amp, as well. i suspect there are some wonderful mods out there for this little gem.

hey guys....
she loves the amp....it was a really good choice...
I am more used to the sound of reverbs,,,,,but she doesnt like reverbs...so it
was a match for her tastes...
I had better get a move on ....since she wants to go to the movies...
and I want to put up a post to win a Hamm.....at 7:00pm

leaving only a 1/2 hour to get there.....it will be tight for sure...

personally, I used to really overlook the clean channels when checking out amps. However as some time went by and I...."matured" now I tend to spend more and more time in shops just playing through clean channels of fender amps. I certainly love the tones..
