What Dunlop Straplocks for my PRS?

Just wondering which set of straplocks I would have to pick up to install for my CU22. Is there a particular model type of Dunlop's various kinds of straplocks that I would have to select to fit the form of the guitar's upper horn or would I be okay picking just any of the model types?

Cross, I've always used their Dual Design (http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=products/pip&id=139&pmh=products/picks) model on all my guitars, including my PRS Standard 24. They are a directly replacement for the PRS strap buttons. No additional fiddling about necessary. If you're not concerned about using a non-Straplok strap at any point and don't want to drill holes in your PRS you can go with the Original design (http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=products/pip&id=137&pmh=products/accessories). These don't require mods to the guitar, but they don't allow for non-Straplok equipped straps to be used. If you want to do some surgery on your guitar you can use the Flush Mount version (http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=products/pip&id=140&pmh=products/accessories). You need to use a drill to enlarge the holes on your guitar to install these.

Iarsee, thanks for the help. I always wondered what the difference was between each of the three models. On my Gibson SG, I used the Dual Design models and thus I was hoping they would work for my PRS as well. And according to you, they do :smile: Although why would the flush mount straplocks require additional surgery to my PRS?

Everything up to the little flange on the receptical sits inside your guitar body with the flush mount. Hence it's flush against the body of your guitar. In order to do that you have to make a wide hole in your guitar.
