does anyone know where i could find a 335 bracket so i could install a pickguard ?

i've searched on ebay buy all i found was the all parts one...and after reading a thread on the les paul forum and some reviews on harmony central..they all have some complaints about their all parts bracket

the other question i have is about polishing the guitar...is there a shop or (luthier maybe?) here in toronto where i could take it to be polished ?

thanks

Hi Patrick. That looks like a cool 335 not a 333. The 333 would have P-90's and no centre block. Is it new or used? If its new you should have gotten a pickguard with it although Gibson doesn't install them at the factory. This gives people the option of not having a guard, but no holes. A Gibson dealer should be able to order you one.

You should be able to buff that finish out yourself. If you poke around on the Les Paul Forum you'll find some threads about guys who have done that.

A cherry 335 or 336 is on my wish list!:food-smiley-004:

Nope. The ES330 has no centre block and P90s, like the Casino. The ES333 is an economy 335, with an access plate at the back for the pots ( a labour saving attribute). I believe it has satin finish, so polishing may be an issue. Nice score.

I most likely would have hunted one of these down if I didn't already have a decent 335 style guitar.

Stratocaster - I noticed your location, "City of the Damned". Are you by chance living in Oshawa ???
