Hi jazzandblues. Welcome aboard :wave:

I went through Barrie before but never really stopped. We did last summer. We cruised around town, then made our way to the waterfront. We parked and walked all the way *downtown*. It must have been during a festival, some of the streets downtown were closed to traffic, bands playing here and there, vendors, entertainers, ... It's a very nice city. The whole waterfront with the marina on the bay is very beautiful.
