View Full Version : My 2 wheeled hobby
This is my 11th bike in my 33 year riding history. I bought it new in 03 and it is the first Suzuki I have owned. Never let me down yet.

Nice ride, not a cruiser guy myself but I love bikes.
I have been a Motocross guy since the late 70's and just gave it up for the last time this year..to many broken bones and I just don't heal fast.
Have the spring fever big time for a new 600 sport bike..

Very sweet, that's a good lookin scoot you have there. I'm in the process of building (not sure if I'll get it down this year or not) a chopper. I'm using a CD750 DOHC in it.

Very nice Ripper....buddy of mine chopped a 97 honda Shadow and it looks great. I used to ride the early 2 stroke "sportbikes" (anyone remember the Kawi H1) back in the 70s but as I aged the cruisers more sedate approach seemed to suit me better.

Well I used to be a Harley guy when I was single (an old 45, then a shovel/pan,) but raising 5 kids etc. kinda knocked that out, so last year I picked up this project to work on. Now the kids are mostly gone I can maybe have a little fun on a scoot again. A new teardrop tank, old style harley back fender, lowered the real suspension 4.5 inches, king/queen seat, bitch bar, old style gauges, 4 into 1 baloney cut exhaust and some other things that I haven't worked out yet...:rockon2: I'm an old school/rat bike kinda guy.

The last bike I rode was an '84 Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo - If anyone else out there has ever riden a turbo charged bike, you know that it brings a whole new meaning to 'hang on'.
I'm sure that there are quicker bikes around now, I'm just not allowed to ride them anymore.
