View Full Version : Peavey and American Chopper
Don't know how many of you are into the show but I like it..Anyway tonight Thursday the 12th at 9 pm central time they will start work with Peavey to build a bike..
The bike is supposed to have an amp built into it once complete:confused-smiley-010 should be a good one.

Thanks for the tip. I always have a good laugh watching angry dad and his sons. Even with all the drama I find them innovative and would be happy with any one of their bikes. It would have to be quite the amp they are building into the chopper as the bikes always sound pretty loud.
I hope that one day the networks will make a reality show about building custom guitars. I'd never miss an episode of that!

Wasn't too impressed when Pauly threw the guitar through the window though.
I hate when somebody does crap like that to a guitar.

Meh. It was a Peavey.
I have to say Hartley Peavey sounded nothing like I thought he would. Having seen pictures of him over the years I expected him to sound more like Rip Torn than...I don't know...what he actually sounded like.

I traded a T-60 I had for a case of beer, 3 pink floyd 8 tracks and a "Disco Sucks" t-shirt. The guy had it for about a week and his Bull Mastiff ate the body (no seriously, there was barely toothpicks left of that poor guitar).

Mmmm...Peavey...tastes great, less filling.
Yeah I have to say the antics are made for TV..my wife hates bikes yet can't wait to see the show:confused-smiley-010
Best part of the show was going through the Peavey factory. Bike will turn out sweet, they always do.
Wonder if they will have a real guitar guy play the bike at the reveal?

Speaking "real guitar guys" I was watching For Your Consideration last night (not a very good movie BTW) and who should make a cameo appearance but Joe Satriani as part of their "Tonight Show" type talk show band. He was playing the Silver Surfer JS but they had tape over the 'Ibanez' on the headstock. The Peavey logo on the JSX combo behind him was all there though. I guess Ibanez didn't pony up for product placement.
Kids, they finish it off tonight.
9pm central time.
