Well, in my case you didn't need to name them. I watched them in black & white waaaaaaay back then. And yes, it kinda does make me feel old.... But where are June and Ward?

Sure, but the question was "how". Like, what's your technique?

My all-time favorite show. June Cleaver to Ward, "Ward don't you think you were a little tough on the Beaver last night."

...i'm almost sixty, still lugging an entire sound system plus my own gear to gigs, sometimes in 20 below snowstorms. still hate stairs, especially if they are covered in ice. still get a rush from the simplest purchase, like a new cable, or guitar case humidifier. still love haunting the music stores, more than ever. still love talking gear with a fellow enthusiast. and still go to bed at night dreaming of a white strat or a bright red tele...

I wonder what Ward's reply was.

I think that if you keep busy mentally and physically............you dont feel your age. When you start to stagnate and become lethargic then everything comes grinding to a halt. One thing I have noticed though is that every year I get older it seems to go by faster.

For the first time in my life I pretty much feel my age. I used to feel a lot younger. I'd be at work thinking, "Holy hell! I'm not old/experienced enough to handle this!" But not any more. And for the first time ever I'm looking at university kids thinking, "Man, they're so young." 30 is a life changing age I guess...

I must be in the transition...I still have my youthful goofy side, but lately, (especially with today's Calgary April Winter Festival happening) the joints and tendons make waking up in the morning an exercise in un-seizing all the bendy bits. But life is Really Good, so there ya go.

Oh man! I hear you on the waking up bit. Definitely don't spring out of bed like I used to. I can still act like a goof, but whereas 5 years ago I'd say I spent the majority of my time in goof off mode, now the majority is in serious mode.

Yeah, I'm livin' in a blur now. Whoosh! What was that? The '90's? Wasn't 9/11 just last week? Time flies when you're havin' birthdays. :D
