Hey guys,
I found a 1981 Hondo Acoustic 12 String in my attic while cleaning it out. I got its strings changed and it sounds pretty good. I couldn't find anything about this guitar anywhere and I was wondering is it classified as Vintage? Is it of any value? I

I don't think any collectors will be beating your door down, but if it sounds good and you're having fun, keep doin' what you're doin'!They were pretty cool affordable guitars when new, allowing guys on a budget to have a decent, playable guitar without going broke.I always thought that Danelectro Longhorn knockoff they did was cool.

If the kick starters on the left it would be considered vintage....

That's freakin FUNNY!

I had 2 Hondos. A black acoustic that got custom painted with a Dragon and then later broken to pieces in an argument with an ex... And a red Warlock rip-off that NEVER stayed in tune and was heavier than anything I've ever played (and I play bass now!). The friggin square coffin box it came in weighed a ton.
