I prefer your maple neck. They play so nicely as well.

I agree with nine. The maple board is not as common as the rosewood. There is something about them that stands out. I always liked the strat that Hendrix used at Woodstock. Like your strat. Very nice. More pics would be appreciated.:rockon:

my understanding is rosewood was always less common then maple on strats and all Fenders...

I'm no expert. But it doesn't seem that way. Most of what I have seen is rosewood. Just from what I have seen in the stores. Anybody no if this is correct?

I've definitely seen less maple boards. Rosewood seems to be the more standard option.

This is what I am seeing as well. Although the maple board appears to be quite popular with the Telecaster crowd. Be interesting to see a pole on this.
