I recently took my strat in for a setup and found out that they couldnt manipulate the neck as the screw had been stripped. Can this be fixed? Or do i have to buy a new neck?

Are you talking about one of the four screws used to bolt the neck to the body?

I wonder if he means the trussrod? If it's just the nut/bolt itself, that can be replaced, but if the actual rod is stripped you either replace the neck or use this:

Buy a left threaded drill bit ( reverse drill bit ) get a drill , drill just deep enough to slowly remove the screw, be careful not to snap the drill bit. It worked for me , I hope it'll help you!! ....p.s. ....you can but the drill bit from any hardware store.:rockon2:
