My 3rd fretless since May (I sold one last week) arrived yesterday. Quick adjustement and removal of the ash trays and I'm going to give it a whirl at tonight's gig.

Man, for the cost of them, they have some awesome looking wood on the naturals and bursts, don't they?

So what 2 are you left with - the LPB fretless and this one? You were going to tune one BEAD, right?

What quick adjustments do you need to make? My SJB-75 replacement will be here on Tuesday.

if you can afford the difference in price..
get the full Corvette 4 banger,, with or with active MEC's...

a little more,, but better build and tone,,, (although heavier),,

German made as opposed to Chinese (or is it Korean, can't remember off hand)..

I've never regretted my Corvette purchase,, (4 fretless,,, ),,,

Thanks. As for adjustments, they generally need a tweak on the truss rod and the intonation set, though this last one was pretty spot on for intonation.

I'm going to upgrade the bridge and pots / capacitor in the next couple of weeks. Compared to the already modded blue bass, the sound was brighter and thinner on this new one - not as much punch, depth, volume. Still a completely giggable bass if I didn't have the other to compare it to.

LPB fretless is tuned BEAD, the new fretless is tuned standard.

I know what you mean about price...
I got mine,, 6 months old, from ebay,, guy in florida didn't like fretless..
800 CAD shipped...

steal of a deal... he even threw in the warwick gigbag..

just played it this am,, still can't get over the playability and tone...

if you're patient,, you'll find one,,

and you'll be glad you waited..
