OT: Shaw cable users, email problems?

I know there are a few Calgary people here that use Shaw.

Are you having problems getting your email, and even accessing MSN messenger? I've tried calling them, but I can't get through.

It seems everyone here in the office had their email and phone (telus or rogers) stop working last night. Just wondering if anyone here knows the cause.

Im in Ontario using Rogers, and the web based email started having problems yesterday................

All of Calgary blew out last night for Shaw as far as I know. They brought the TV signal back up within a couple of hours, internet was back by this AM, and the email servers seem to be back now. Must've been a monster hit of some kind.

I'm at work, and can't get that shaw webmail page to work.

Like I said, our phone was even out, and it's not Shaw digital. Not sure what the correlation is.

I heard power lines came down and hurt people last night.
